Renewal of Giving

The ongoing work of First Parish and its ability to fulfill its mission to take care of one another and to be a blessing to the world depends on the generosity of our members and friends.

Renewal of Giving (ROG) describes the process we use at First Parish for reaching out directly to all active church participants and asking for gifts and for financial commitments over the course of the year. This includes requests for end-of-year giving and the annual process of gathering pledges of support for the following church year. Pledges and other direct gifts from the congregation cover more than 80% of each year's operating costs which are currently running at about $29,500 per month.

If you prefer, you can download the printable pledge form by right-clicking (on a Mac, ctrl-click), print it, fill it out, and return it to the church office by mail or in person.

If you are new to our church community, have started attending regularly and placing gifts in the offering box, and are feeling this is going to be the church home for you, we ask you to consider making a pledge that will cover the remainder of our current fiscal year which runs through June 30th, and for the upcoming fiscal year (FY14) which runs from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014. Please return the FY14 printable pledge form to the church office and be sure to include your personal contact information.
