COVID Safety Updates
December 13, 2022
With winter weather and activities moving indoors, large holiday gatherings, and the increased risks of a triple-demic of respiratory infections, this is a time when greater health caution is advised.
#1 Rule: Please stay home if you are not feeling well. This includes any respiratory symptoms no matter the cause..
For Covid-19 related illness, specifically, stay at home if in the last 7 days
a) you experienced symptoms associated with Covid-19,
b) you were exposed to someone who tested positive, or
c) you tested positive on a rapid antigen test.
Please delay return for at least 5 days (after symptoms, exposure, or positive test) and until you are symptom-free and have tested negative on a rapid antigen test.
Masks are strongly encouraged but not required. This precuationprecaution is suggested because of the current “triple-demic” of respiratory viruses (influenza, RSV, and Covid-19).
Eating in the vestry following worship is now an option for those who feel comfortable accepting the risks that go along with this relaxation of precautions.
