First Parish Church of Groton is entirely self-sustaining and welcomes your financial support. If you are able to donate in any amount, we are grateful.

Bank Bill Pay

Ask your bank or use their online system, to send us a one-time or monthly check. This saves the church from paying any fees!

Annual Pledge

Over 70% of our annual operating funds comes from our members’ annual Pledges. Pledging is simply a commitment you make to the church to donate a specific amount over an entire year. Your commitment allows us to plan our budget throughout the year.

Support Our Charitable Giving

In addition to supporting various community projects, the church also collects money on behalf of various local charities and programs such as Loaves and Fishes, the Fitchburg Meal Program, Stone Soup Kitchen Ministries, and many others. 100% of your gift is sent to the charity. We are currently accepting donations for these programs.

Distributes debit cards for gas and groceries to anyone in need.

Provides meals, rides, and a helping hand during challenging times.

Provides meals for homeless people in the city of Fitchburg, MA

Provides food and conversation for homeless people in Ayer, MA

Legacy Giving and Our Endowments

Old Groton Meetinghouse Fund

Since 1804, the fund has helped pay our minister’s compensation and provides a safety net for financial emergencies.

Sponsors projects proposed by members and the community consistent with our mission and values.

Separate from the church and dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the Old Groton Meeting House.
