Join the Prison Ministry Committee on Saturday morning, 10/22 at 9 am to be a part of our second annual Holiday Gift Bag Assembly of much needed toiletries for the men of MCI Shirley. You can walk among tables filling your bags or sit while unpacking cartons or finishing the bags. This is a joyous time for us but the need is very serious. Standard issued products are available to the men, but if they run out, or if the items do not work or cause irritation, the only option is to purchase others at the prison store on their $3 per week salary.

We start at 9 am and should be done between noon and 1pm.

Please email Donna Nowak to let her know if you will participate. As an AVP volunteer in the prison, she talks to the men directly and often hears of their deep gratitude for our kindness.
