We hope you will join us today and every Sunday for our Black Lives Matter Vigil on Main street on the Common in front of the church. Each week we stand to remind ourselves and the world of the work that still needs to be done.

All are invited to join Trish Garrigan and Sue Gleason for Monday Night Meditation Group on Zoom.

We meet each Monday night, except on Federal holidays.

Join a small group of First Parish friends for our Summer Coffee and Conversation. Come for a few minutes or stay for the hour. All are welcome to this informal time of connection and community.  Contact welcome@uugroton.org for Zoom meeting ID.

Please join us to experience a little bit of First Parish history through listening to recorded sermons from Elea’s early days as minister in Groton.  Each week we spend a few minutes greeting each other and listen to a sermon(20 minutes) with time for conversation afterwards.

Come once in a while.  Come every week.  Come in your comfy clothes with your afternoon snack.

Join us on the 4th Friday if each month for Family Game Night. We will have tables setup in the Vestry with different traditional games for people to choose from (Parcheesi, Trouble, Trivial Pursuit, Apples-to-Apples, Banana-gram, Boggle, Uno, and standard playing cards) or bring your own game.

Spectators are welcome!

We will be following COVID guidelines (ie. no indoor eating/drinking).

Join us each month on the 2nd Friday night for Movie Night.

Doors open at 6:30pm with film starting at 7pm followed by discussion. The target audience is adults. Kids are welcome. We follow the church’s current COVID guidelines (ie. masking, no indoor eating/drinking).

The Welcoming Team invites you to join us at the church once each month to write birthday cards to First Parish members, friends, & family. We will provide all the supplies, names, and addresses, in addition to mailing the completed cards after each gathering.

We hope you’ll drop-in, have a cupcake, and enjoy the fun and connection of wishing each other a Happy Birthday. No artistic ability or great penmanship needed. No signing up or commitment required.

Everyone is welcome! Please pass the word.
