Religious Education Offerings

Nursery Care
Nursery Care is available for babies through preschool each Sunday in the East Wing nursery. Family members may drop children off or stay.

Pre-K – Grade 6
Pre-K – Grade 6 begins with their families in the church sanctuary. After the Story for All Ages, we sing the children to Religious Education sessions. Parents may accompany children as needed.

Includes an 8 week session highlighting Respect, Responsibility, and Relationships during Sunday morning Religious Education.

Grades 6-8
“Middle Matters” explores themes, ideas, and actions such as social action, neighboring faiths, and our UU principles through chalice lightings, discussions, and hands-on projects. Art, music, and ritual help them prepare for a youth-led service in the spring.

Grades 9-12
Youth may remain in the sanctuary for worship service or volunteer to assist in Religious Education. Individual action plans are created and Youth are encouraged to participate in leadership and worship roles.

Ages 14 and Up
Our Youth help organize items from our clothing drive. A trained, specialized team leads an overnight experience with CityReach Boston distributing clothing and food to homeless individuals. Afterwards, the group takes time to reflect and share.
